Hawking Wi Fi (1 Viewer)

Been looking at one of these and wondering how easy/difficult are these things to set up.
Reading some of the threads, I get a bit worried ( really Computer Savy)

One I had was dead easy about £34 the other one works better £134 (different make) but was a pig but excellent range

Just bought the 'Rocket' one, works well and only £20. Dead easy to set up. I didn't read the instructions or use their disc (which wont fit the drive on my laptop because its one of those titchy discs)

Does this go through a Modem or drectly into Laptop
