Does anyone know--or have an opinion--on what would be a fair price for a 1991 Hymer S560 which has done 105000 Kms? Told it is a Mercedes engine (just in case there is another option) same owner for several , regularly serviced and good order.

Yes, It is a Merc engine, the 'S" prefix denotes that..

without seeing it is is difficult to say, but all things being equal and if it's in decent condition I would guess it's value is around €8 - €10k ..

Paul at Caravannes Rapido (Wokingham) has a Hymer of that vintage, very well specced and TOTALLY IMMACULATE, it is like brand new, even the copper pipes are polished!

I followed it back from Newbury and it went like a new one.

What stars you all are!!! Huge thanks. They are talking about €15k. It's on French plates & will be CT'd. It's so scary doing this on my own this time :-( though another Fun person has retired engineer friend in Dordogne who would cast an eye over it for me.

ours is a 1993, low mileage, full history and excellent condition inside - we paid £11500 two years ago. Have done a few additions and improvements so would expect it to be worth around £12,500 now.
They dont make them like this any more!
