Provisional dates for your diary 26 May to the 3rd June 2012 or 2nd to the 10th June 2012 Venue to follow, but it will be somewhere in the area within a 75 mile radius of Birmingham and is, these weeks are half term week. :thumb:

For those that think this will clash with Stratford, it probably won't. The Stratford show is being put back to the 18th June next year. Well that's their 'penciled in' date as race meets are scheduled there over the regular show dates.

Sounds good to me Jim i will check my shift card for next year and let you know what dates we would be able to do. Also depends on exact venue as if its 75m south of Birmingham might be a bit far for a weekend but will do our best to make it.

Somewhere within say half mile of a canal would be ideal, then the 'Boat People' can join us as they thouroughly enjoyed the Stratford experience. (i'm well on the way to converting them).

Just googled it and it does but June 4th will also be a bank holiday :thumb:so maybe extend the meet a day?

Just checked half term in our area next year is 4th - 8th June.

Also checked the midlands and some other areas. I think half term for most people in 2012 will be 4th - 8th June as well

In Fact it probably has something to do with the 5th June being the bank holiday. I think its the same in Wales as well Jim.

Looks like Wales and the South are a week before the Midlands and the North so maybe we'll have to have it over 16 days

North East schools are also 4th - 8th June for half term. Appreciate that you can't keep moving the dates as it will not work for all. Depending on which side of Birmingham the location is, we would probably try and get down for the final weekend (1st - 3rd) then use the extra days to visit elsewhere in the area. :thumb:

Thanks Sonja, I'll take a look, Sadly (for me at least) we don't seem to have too many kids at meets these days but if we are going to have the meet spans two weekends then the week in the middle when the majority of kids are off would suit many, especially as regular campsites are full and manic around that time:thumb:

Derbyshire is 4th - 8th June too, Kids and I will be off then so if dates coincide we are interested.
