Why do most people take so long and are so picky about choosing a Motorhome?
Why do some have to buy NEW and buy NEW again and again etc.
Why must it have this and that and this and that?
Why do they never compromise?
Why can't they just go out and buy one and get on with it?

Why when people answer these questions do they say:-
Look round all the dealers and go to all the shows and look at all the different types on offer and etc, etc, etc.

Years later..................................

Snore...................................

 Get out there and Enjoy people. :winky:

Possibly something to do with knowing what they want and keeping on searching until they eventually find it.................

Then again it could be something to do with having no idea what they want and the time involved in treading through the minefield of options.......

Funny things us people :winky:

John....... you still awake??? :roflmto: :roflmto:

I wish we could be so picky.

We are seriously limited to what we can have because of our personal circumstances? Oh how nice it would be to wander into a dealers and have a choice like normal folk do, heh !?

What you buy is down to personal priorities.
Our first priority is the requirement for it to operate at -20 and lower.
Our next priority is storage by way of a garage for all all our outdoor activities.
We also need a big fridge to last us a couple of weeks without having to resort to grossly overpriced ski resort shops.
A fixed bed is a must for us, as is diesel heating to reduce our reliance on gas availability.
Lastly a rwd chassis for traction on snow covered roads.

Luckily, we have all we want in our current van. There is NOTHING else on the market which fulfills our needs like the one we have now.

I think continually changing your MH is a sign that you have not researched your needs well enough. I can understand somebodies first purchase being wrong, but that should be a lesson for future purchases.

I sometimes wonder if attending too many rallies at shows oils people's wallets too. It is easy to convince yourself that your current van needs changing when lots of shiny new stuff is on display.:)
