I asked a few days ago what was I likely to forget...and having survived our first outing in a motorhome as opposed to my previous caravans I think we hardly forgot anything. I needed a heavy club hammer for the pegs for the windbreak on a very hard hard standing the rubber mallet was useless...
and I left the whisky behind . That was about it !

But I learnt quite a bit nice trip down to Hythe CC site.

Driving the 690 was great....loved the 3 litre auto.....just superb
Most things worked
The beds were great.
I loved the huge garage,
Some bits of the overall design are great...some not so great
But nothing is perfect.

The CC wardens on the site were really helpful and having owned several Autotrails......were great support.

Overall a great trip. With a great bike ride from Hythe to Folkstone off road all the way.

But the highlight over the trip was eating some strawberries next to the Hythe Military Canal................these strawberries were called Jubilee
and they were the BEST I have ever tasted..............look out for them
