You might have seen the advert in the magazine for EcoTree Lithium They have approached me this week with an offer that might be good for you if you are thinking of upgrading to Lithium

They want to offer up to 5 Funsters the opportunity to buy one of their £699 batteries for just £300. However, in return, they ask you to review the battery, the installation, etc, and later in the summer when you have used it for a while let them know how it compares to your original setup, etc. so that will be two reviews, good or bad they want you to be honest. You agree to let them use the reviews in their promotional material.

That's a considerable saving but they will also fit the battery free of charge! So this could be a great deal for you. If you are interested then please fill this form.

If there are more than five interested I will draw five winners from a hat. (y)

The “small catch” might be that we might not be able to use it enough by the summer to do a useful comparison.
Great offer, with my habitation batter at 5 years old, I am tempted but I probably don’t monitor my battery enough to be able to compare. Mine just works :xThumb:

I’ve filled the form in as I’d like to hear more from them and what level of review they are looking for, like most I don’t monitor my battery non stop.

enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
would they be willing to fit 2 batteries at £600 ???? a lot of people who might benefit from this seem to have a bank of two leisure batteries .....??? or are they suggesting that with the single lithium, you shouldnt need two batteries ?

i might have filled the form in but am hoping for a June Christmas present from Santa Simon .....

I doubt they will let anyone have more than one at £300. I will ask them next year about other extras fitted at the time. I know they are looking at offering a Funster Discount in the new year, so it might well pay to have a second fitted.

Thanks Jim, I have filled it in.

It is a considerable weight saving for me, one lithium would be quarter of the weight of the two lead acids I currently have for the same power capacity.

For me the biggest benefit is the rate of charge, they charge really fast. But yes, anyone who is near their weights, overall or axle, the saving giving you extra payload is considerable (y)

I agree our batteries are back to 100% in no time at all and we have a compressor freezer in the garage running off them as well

sounds like a good deal for someone so I have filled in the form. When do you intend to draw the lucky winners Jim?
