That's it folks......Euros obtained, cassette empty and the water tank full (I don't hold with all this weight versus mileage dross) The ferry beckons.... I don't usually make plans but the first week is doing the Normandy Beaches and things like the Pegasus Bridge and St. Mere Eglise.
Then on to the Isle de Noirmoutier, the Isle de Oleron and thence to the vast beaches of Aquitaine where an all over tan is planned ! Lazy days on the beach with a book and a chilled bottle of Sancerre, loads of cycling through the pine forest to tiny villages to stock up on comestibles for the evening repast !!
What a bugger, I don't really want to leave dear old Blighty with it's "You can't park here mate, you might enjoy yourself and support our local economy" attitude...but it has got to be done !!
I will attempt to master the art of free wi-fi but failing that I will see you all in six weeks time !!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
