Stone me, they're expensive :Angry: Only thing to do is avoid the toll motorways (saves fuel too, though not time) though I make an exception for the Millau bridge which is worth every cent.

Class 3....but if you are lucky and smile sweetly at the cashier you might get away with a class 2 :thumb:

Tag axle and over 3.5t = Class 4

On a trip a few years ago we were charged class 4 in our tagaxle Autotrail (5 ton) I said "Non Non Classe 3" in my best Allo-Allo accent a few times and the lady operator rolled her eyes and changed it to classe 3, the rest of the trip in that MH it just came up as class 3. I thought it was 3. though its clearly a class 4:Blush:

I definitely fit in the class three category but I have been charged class two once. Is it really the case that the cashier has the power to make the decision. I thought the vehicle would be automatically weighed and height checked leaving no lee way for the cashier.
