Thanks Keven, but click where?
Where do you click when writing a post?
How are you adding the image?
When writing the post and you've used 'attach files' for a photo/screenshot, click on 'Insert...': -
1607077668510.png

Then choose Full Image or Thumbnail.

Hmm. I can't think of other examples to try replicate a How To.
The Insert Image tool has the same UI.

Where do you click to see a posted thumbnail as full size? On the thumbnail ;) (I doubt that's your query somehow :) )

edit: oops. Too slow at typing. User self fixed :p :)

tofo your attachments are blurred, like mine are. :(

You're posting as thumbnails. Clicking on that goes to the full size.

Joy, after you've added the attachment you'll see 'insert' on the top of the small thumbnail image, click on that and you can select 'Full image' and the larger one will show in the post, like this:

No it's not ... read my posts please ... I don't see 'blobs' either blue or just the outlines ... nowt UNTIL I hover over each alert individually ... with the alerts either having a white (read alerts) and very pale blue (unread alerts) background they aren't easy to differentiate.
You hover over it to see if you've already clicked it or not. Same as mine. It works.

I think the preference is that full browsers on Desktops and Laptops should work like the mobile ones.
Their dot always on display is easier, imo.

On full browsers the read/unread status needs the mouse pointer over it.

The lower area’s “similar thread” section has had a suitable selection of posts a few times tonight.
Maybe it was a new feature that needed to settle.
Or some topics are harder than others to get a suitable list.
Oh! The ones below this are a poor section tho. Maybe I wrote this too soon.

No problems for me except....
On my iPhone, we have gone a bit backwards with the ‘What’s New’.
I have got used to not clicking the logo and click the zigzag instead.
At the bottom of the page, clicking on ‘More’ takes you back to the top of the page instead of on to the next page, so have to scroll back down to the bottom of the page to get the next page.

So either Jim has to change it or we can hover our cursor over it.
Hover over each alert in turn ... I like to quickly glance over them and just use the mouse to click on the one I want to go to ... can't be doing with loads of mouse moving ... it's legs get tired! :giggle:

Have I missed a fix or am I the only one who gets blurred pictures when the are added to posts?
Phil

No, I do as well then when you click into the photo it becomes clear. But you can't enlarge it as before when compiling the post?

You need to insert the image. When you upload the file what you are seeing as a blurred image is just a preview. Click on "insert" in the top left of this preview and select Thumbnail or Full image. I suggest the latter as I tend not to look at thumbnails. :)

... just in case you missed the info above ...

After you've added the attachment you'll see 'insert' on the top left of the small thumbnail image:

Click on that and you can select 'Full image' and the larger one will show in the post, like this:

Tugger now Motorhome
Sorry, but when you have spent all your Motorhome Fun Forum time tapping on the Fun logo for new posts and that has changed - really, really irritating.

Anyone noticed that images default to a soft focus look? :p

Worse, forum editor tools are dead in MS Edge & iPad?
Oh! Wait, toggled preview on & back off and that helped with the editor menu.
Weird. No rollback though?

edit: must've accidentally got into bbcode mode & it's a saved setting

iPad fixed now. That had got into bbcode mode.
So inability of the editor’s tools working the only clue we get that bbcode is on?
No border colour change or a visible bbcode icon that change somehow?
The iPad had the bbcode icon on a hidden menu.

Not on my laptop ... I only 'see' the blue blob if I hover my mouse over each alert individually.
Must be a perception problem. I asked again about the alerts on Desktops/laptops but they’re working the same as portable devices. Broken Link Removed

I'm afraid you are incorrect ... they do NOT show as default on the laptop/PC alerts list, on a mobile/tablet screen they show up without you having to do anything but the ONLY way you get to see the 'blobs' on a laptop/PC is by hovering over each alert individually.

If you look at the screenshots by Kevenh on the thread you linked to you can clearly see the difference:

Just in case anyone has the same problem as me with What's New + on an iPhone, I have found a work-around.

https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/‘what’s-new-’-on-an-iphone-i-have-solved-the-conundrum.231937/#post-4232455

Except the link doesn't work 🤣
