Glad you, and your dogs, enjoyed your visit to France.

Which departments did you visit?

We also travel to and fro in pet passports, and you're right, it's very straightforward.

hi

I am sure it will be. We had all the help from one of the funsters who recommend a vet etc - so easy and nothing to worry about - still cannot believe we have been to France with our two boys lol best of luck and enjoy.::bigsmile:

Hope they enjoyed their birthday!!! (Mine have "rescue days" instead as DOBs unknown)

For Pet Passports, Just always check that the vet puts the correct time of the Tick 'n Tape on the passport, and in the right place. It's rare for them to get it wrong but did know a woman whose cat was held at Heathrow as vet had forgotten to put the time on.

Allow time at the port and ensure you know where the chip is so you can find it easily with the reader.

So many pets travel now that the port staff are used to doing the paperwork. My 4 go to UK & back OK.

What was the name of the vet you used in France and how much did it cost? Like Val Bob & Toby, we are due to go with our mutt for the first time in June. Any tips/info would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance:thumb:
