I've no first hand experience but I do know that Google Maps always comes up with a route as good as it gets.

Click options - no tolls and miles and it says 324 miles. So overnight stops are optional.

We will be doing the same route later in the year, Dunkirk down to Benodet in Brittany.
We have done it a few times already but taken in different stops each time.

Are there any places you particularly want to see and stop at. There are so many great stops on the route such as, St Valery sur Somme, Pont de Normandie, Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville, Pegasus Bridge, Arromanche, to name but few.

You do not say whether you want to stop on campsites or aires.
Do you want to pre book, or just go with the flow? (Go with the flow is much better in our opinion). Also how many miles / hours do you want to travel in a day?

The route is truly littered with campsites /aires. You are never far from somewhere to pitch up.:thumb::thumb:

Simple really - buy a book and a map

Do it yourself.

I'm not being rude or dismissive, but this is really the only way to see France. Half the fun is stopping somewhere for the night, and planning tomorrow's destination and route.

AGREE :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb: SIMPLES,

and follow the "green" highlighted roads on the Michelin Maps ( use the regional/departmental ones), normally nice scenic drives...:Cool:
