I've had loads of them, each one claiming to have more suction than the other. Most are useless and relegated to THAT drawer in the garage within a week or two.

So who can recommend a 12v hand-held vacuum cleaner that works, works well and has lasted more than two weeks. Doesn't need all the fancy attachments, but good suction and the ability to get into all those awkward little places. Will use it in the van as well:ROFLMAO:

I would agree with that - we have a dyson animal - the little hand held version - had it about 3 years and still going strong - nearly the power of a normal vacuum cleaner

Very powerful suction lasts about 10 mins plenty long enough for our size van:thumb:

I didn't buy the Dyson because it could only be charged with a 240v supply, has this changed in newer models?

I use a Dyson in the home as well as the RV (hand held) very good, the problem I find with 12 volt plug ins is that the lead would have to be 30 ft long and I couldn't use it in the home
