I know this has been asked before but we have a lot of new members now.

Apart from General Ecology does anyone know the best place to get a replacement Nature Pure filter? It's £58 with P&P from General and before I part with my hard earned I want to make sure I can't get it cheaper else where, after all i'm only a poor southern boy.

Hi Dane, we have not a found a cheaper source for replacement filters. We did get a special price from General Ecology at last years Peterborough Show. It may be worth having a look for their stand at the Newark Show, you will save on the P&P at least.

Brisey.

Jim's money saving tip of the week.... :roflmto:

Try back-flushing the cartridge by jetting water from the inside of the element .. we had one that lasted almost three years (full time) ::bigsmile:

I tried to get hold of their kit without going through them and dealing direct with the US but they are sticklers for ensuring that everything goes through their UK distributor (fair one I suppose) I think you will struggle to get the filter elswhere.

Its a physical filter so in theory, if the water is going through it then its still working, only if the flow is really poor would I change it.

You can always try friends in the States, and if you haven't got any, get on to one of their RV websites and make friends over the water, in both senses.
