We decided to pop down this new CC site this weekend for a live test (motorhome!) and this is the report....

Nice, basic 5 van site. I say basic - as it has the normal CL characteristics, whilst harbouring some surprising extras.

The site is small, level and has gravel pitches, fairly long and narrow. Plebty of mown grass area and hood spacing between pitches.

Each pitch has water and waste points, Elsan point is near the entrance, along with recycling centre a short walk away. Information shed has leaflets, and local tourist information. The main entrance to the pithes is gated, by a wooden gate.

Amongst the nice little finishes, is the fact that pitches come with a 'reserved' sign, for when you pop out! Handy for motor homers!

Dogs are welcome and here is a huge dog walking field, which there is a mown path that leads around the field to the house and back to th site in a circuit.

Free WIFI access is given as standard, as is hook up etc - pitches are priced inclusive (ÂŁ14/per night) and there are no extras for dogs or anything else.

Owners are very friendly, and greet you with Fresh Eggs from their chickens (different eggs from each breed) and a pot of home made marmalade - both are lovely!::bigsmile:

Well recommended - nice clean tidy park, good area for touring - lizard 5 miles, Helston 7 miles, Penzance around 10. Goonhilly nearby along with Flambards, Culdrose, etc

Keeps traditional CL character with extra luxuries provided:thumb:

Can't be so cruel to our fellow funsters!
Open all year so could be a winter meet! lol!

Forgot to mention the help yourself herb garden. We don't use ours at home, as the dog open wees on the rosemary.....maybe the next owner will wonder why we never used it! :winky:
