Anyone know of a policy for breakdown cover in europe at a realistic price.
Used to have it with my insurance but their prices went silly and i changed companies but the new insurarer does not do breakdown cover.

I think ADAC is the general concensus for UK/Euro cover. It is German based, but they have english speaking ops - someone will be along with contact details shortly!:thumb:

We have RAC arrival which you can get if you are a member of the Camping & Caravanning Club.

I think (although I may be wrong) that ADAC impose size/weight restrictions on their recovery programme. RAC arrival don't.

We've just insured with Caravanguard for £415 which includes full breakdown and recovery from Europe. I'm sure they said it covered 8 months in Europe, which seems very long, and they use AA. It would only have been £367 if we'd had an immobiliser.

ADAC has very generous size limits for MHs. 79 euros for ADACPlus which covers myself and partner for any vehicle with lots of extras. Cover in the UK provided by AA.
