A friend of mine wishes to hire a motorhome but they have 2 dogs. Does anyone know of any companies who allow you to take your pooches with you? It's not something I've ever looked into and they seem to think I'm the font of all knowledge

We do, but depends on the size of the dogs. We have a duty of care to the animals, so have to ensure that they are comfortable. We usually stipluate two small dogs, or one medium as a general guide.

You will find that many will be that way inclined. Depends where you are going, as you would really need to find one nearby or near your destination area. There is a company that specialises in dog friendly motorhomes - I will have a look about - they effectively have garages converted to kennels.

Try my sister in law, www.livethedreammotorhomehire.co.uk They have 2 dog friendly vans converted to take a dog.Good web site that allows you to walk through the vans.

You could also try Link Removed I found MK Motorhome Hire here (the company I use) There are hundreds of companies all over the UK. I am sure I saw that there were some doggy friendly companies.
