My first one was bought for me as a present when I was 11,was taught to use it responsibly and moved on to shotguns as I got older.
Am of the opinion that responsible gun ownership should be taught when young as then like most other things in life it becomes second nature.

What a bloody nanny state ---have they nowt better to discuss in parliament.

If they need to do this with effectively pop guns how on earth can they justify letting us drive lethal weapons like cars.

Rant over going motorhoming

As long as the weapon is secured and stored seperately from the pellets you are complying with the law...A lot of airgun manufacturers are selling lockable cables with new airguns so using this cable secured to an immovable object(ie) a pipe or a rail this also complies with the law you don't have to buy a special lockable gun cabinet

This law comes into force on the 10th Feb
