Can you people around Bristol recommend any garages/repairers/mobile services that you trust? As the warranty expires soon (end of March) I am looking for someone to thoroughly check my motorhome (Autotrail Apache 700) with particular emphasis in potential water ingress / delamination.

Hi Pegasus,

I use M&D services in Fishponds for my vehicle servicing they have always done a good job. They do habitation checks as well. Tony the owner is a motorhomer himself.

I dont know about the habitation side, if you consider using them give them a ring and chat about damp measurement.

This is the dealer I used upto now, but I am not experiencing the customer/dealer relationship I am after.

Kind regards

I use Nick of Adventure Motorhomes.

He loves motorhomes and I really trust him with mine.
I travel from Ilfracombe all the way to Highbridge to use him as he is a great guy.
Takes me 2 hours to get there and 2 hours back, but I think it is worth it.
I will be there on Monday having my air con fixed, and a hab check.

30 of YOUR miles...that is only 3 CORNISH miles!:ROFLMAO:
I couldn't remember where it was, I just remember passing it one day and having a nose.

Handy to know! I must say, I did think some of their vehicles were a little over priced, or maybe that is me being fussy!

I have been looking at upgrading one of our hire ones, so have been looking around alot recently - funny thing is, I just cannot find one as clean as ours! and there are those that avoid ex hire! lol!

I do think dealers are missing a trick when it comes to customer serice - especially in a world that uses the internet to communicate.
