For the last week I have been inundated by scores of spam from dozens of Casinos and gaming houses to the exclusion of almost everything else. I'm almost beginning to miss my usual offers of Viagra and various methods of extending my 'bits'.

Why me?

I've never betted on anything in my life - apart from the date of my first child's birth .... after my wife had been booked for a ceasarian ! .. :thumb:

Yes, receiving more spam than ever, goes into the spam folder and delete with a click but still a pain. All sorts of spam including the betting stuff. :Sad:

In the past the only cure that I found was to open a new email account, but now I don't get any as I no longer go into the places that are risky or give my address out to suspect sites.

I have had no spam in 3 years.

I think that is more lucky than planned Doug. I have a small business with 3 email addresses and I never go anywhere at all with them - safe or dodgy. I still get 30 spam emails a day between them.

May I humbly suggest people troubled by spam should check out Gmail... Google's free email service... I have several "accounts" and have very, very, very little spam... (in fact I would almost go so far as to say never.)

My computer at work, when I was at work. Is/was regulated by the IT admin and iffy sites are not accessible. I did however sign on to a few technical publications and with it came the spam. Doesn't bother me, just hit the spam button, never open them.

I clear out my web browsing history, temporary files and cookies everyday which seems to help. Or then again maybe it doesn't.
