Sorry to disappoint but the area for the Global Meet needs to be agreed first and then whoever is in that area will be appointed surely?

I propose Shropshire - touche and back to you!::bigsmile:

Its only "dangerous" dogs which are prohibited such as dobermans and rotties so John's ponies will be fine - he could do rides to entertain the kids! :roflmto: :roflmto:

John,

Perhaps you could ask them where they would like to go next then? Let us know by return. :roflmto::roflmto::roflmto::roflmto:

I don't think I am invited anyway, but I would volunteer to look for the missing teddy :roflmto::roflmto:

Hi All and Suzi,

What about GERMANY/AUSTRIA/HUNGARY/SERBIA/ BULGARIA.but we are biased about these places as we are going through these end of AUGUST to get to Bulgaria, there's always GREECE or TURKEY next,or other way ROMANIA.All of which are very beautiful places !
As it's a GLOBAL MEET shouldn't it be AWAY from the UK............:roflmto::winky:

Whatever is decided, it would be nice for it to be more central than MHF's... It is a long way for us and we are slap bang near the center of the country. Friends further up north have totally ruled out the weekend due to the distance.

Okay all, where is 'central'?

I reckon Staffordshire is the central county...

Centre of England

Barnsley! ::bigsmile:

Hi

Barnsley is the centre! In aviation terms it is also very important - I am not sure of the technical details etc.

There is a campsite just off J36 of the M1 - not sure if it is OK or not. Try to think of its name.

Barnsley!!

I don't think so :whatthe:

I would reckon that Staffordshire would be central if you were choosing location first.

BUT

If we sorted the attendees first we could pinpoint a central location based upon departure points.
