Well SWMBO has just dropped a cup of tea all over her laptop.

It won't start now I suspect its still wet inside. Is it likely to be beyond economic repair if it does not boot when it is dry.

Perhaps I can use it as an excuse for me to buy a new one and let her have my old one. After all I wouldn't want to trust her with a new one.:ROFLMAO:

chances are, if i was off when had its bath it would come to no harm, but turning it on when it could still be wet inside has most certainly killed it.

No it was on when it happened screen just went white. I switched it off immediately but suspect the damage will have been done. Its just whether it will be worth repairing.

Probably a good time to dust off the insurance policy and claim for a new one.

It should only be seriously harmed if there was sugar in the brew - seriously.

Otherwise, just let it dry out naturally, don't force it. Could take a while though.
