Hi and welcome to fun

We also have a Trannie, it's a wee bit bigger than yours but still small enough to get into supermarket carparks without difficulty.

It does about 32 MPG on average and drives as nice as a car, well nearly.

Get out there and enjoy Alan and Lynda

My base is Brighton but I spend most of my time travelling for work. I've also lived in Switzerland, Germany, Holland and Australia. So I've been around the block a few times.

Havn't we all!!!!:Sad::Sad:

Ooooh - you cheeky madam! Bet my blocks bigger than yours. We too have a Trannie and now Crimbo has gone and the nights are drawing out, I'm really getting itchy feet. I was quite envious of those on the Spanish trip but their temperature's not really that great to tempt me but I'd just love to be on the move again.

Not just yet, it's awaiting the finishing touches (windows!) but will be ready very soon. The conversion is amazing, so I will share pictures soon as I am very impressed with the work that's been done, and have spent countless hours pouring over photos of other people's PVCs so will be happy to be able to add mine to the collection.

Another Transit conversion here......:thumb:

Your blog is a good read.

Your van layout is the same as the VW Kampervan we used to own, the only difference was that it had a pop-top.

We also lived in Hove Actually for a few years, then Horsham, so we have a few things in common........like experiencing Dial Post - what a dump.....:ROFLMAO: (joke) and I fully concur with your hotel experiences.

I often used to stay overnight for a quick night away at Mill Hill, overlooking Shoreham airport and Lancing College - very pleasant watching the sun rise over Hove.
