Took delivery of my Bran Spanking new.//////////// ooops 20 year Old Fiat Camleot, my first Camper, today.

Reading through manuals it mentions a control board where I can view the charge of the Leisure Battery and change from 12 volt to 240 etc

Well. errrrmm I can't find it! Did they all have it? was it an optional extra and perhaps I'm searching in vain?

I had one of these years ago. An amazing design providing just about everything in a panel van conversion. The control panel in mine, and probably in yours was a Zig CF8 which is still in production.
As I recall it has just an indicator light for battery condition green for good, red for low. It incorporates a mains charger (4.5A) switched by an orange switch with a neon indicator to show its on.
Enjoy your new purchase :thumb:

Thanks for welcomes and instructions etc!!

But....... its not there, there is no place left to look and lets face it, the campervan isn't that big that I could walk past it

Pity as the alternator is playing up and it would of been handy to charge the batteries via the mains.

Thanks again.

I wonder would one of these be easy to retrofit as they are still on the market? what else would it need? would all the other bits be there IE: mains - battery charge etc

Well thats confirmed it, I don't have one

I have all them switches below that, water level, water pump switch etc, but no panel, it must of been an option?

Thanks everyone for help.

Yes, it was an option on the Autohomes Camelot but not many were made without. It must have been a real skinflint of a first owner who ordered yours 20 years ago  But never mind, it will give you the opportunity to fit a more powerful modern charger. Or perhaps you'd prefer to keep it to original spec and fit OE that another poster (forgive me not remembering who it is) says is still available. Is the wooden panel where it would normally be still blank? What you need is a photo of one in a member Funster's Camelot - someone out there must be reading this ...... ? Help ?
