What campsite numb nutsI would not pay 200 MAD for a salad, a bit o fish and chocolate stuff, Captain Cockthruster ! But I would pay 200 MAD to hear your silky smooth voice my wonderful scrumptious nuts. Don't go past the campsite just south of Agadir, it's magnificent.

Camping Ouassay beachWhere's this?
Welcome to Morocco. We are currently chilling and fiddling with the van at Asilah camping Echrigui. We can’t leave until the campsite man gives us our washing back! Judging by the cloud cover that might be awhile lol.
We are going to drive down the coast road slowly if the weather stays fair or fast if not. Loving Morocco so far...
Stayed there this time last year - we joined in the Valentine Day lunch goat (we think) roast.A recommendation to all Funsters heading past Agadir.

I thought it was Donkey! And we was isolated from the FrenchStayed there this time last year - we joined in the Valentine Day lunch goat (we think) roast.
It's very French, excellent facilities but miles from anywhere, including the sea, unfortunately.

Your going to love the food, especially the tagines. The Marakesh restaurant in Tafroute does a stunning Kefta Tagine that members rave about, including me. €19.00 for washing sounds about right if you have asked them to do all your bedding, towels, draws, curtains, shirts, dresses, trousers, T-shirts, socks, blouses, knickers, bra's, throw's, carpets, curtains, vests, jumpers, jackets and coats ! I think you will get a bit more savvy as you gain more experience. The Moroccan people are fairly honest but if you allow them to take you to the cleaners they will do so with a smile on their face and a warmth in there heart. There is a decent launderette in Tafroute who charges by weight if I recall correctly and some of the women selling food bread etc on the wild camping spot will do your washing for you and deliver back to your motorhome for a very, very good price. This is also the place to buy your footware the shoe center of Morocco. While I'm here this is the place to get your Argon oil. Come back to me when you arrive and I'll give you the directions to the little shop we have always used and it's the real McCoy too. We’ve sorted SIM cards out fine in Tanger from a Maroc telecom shop.
we are getting used to tourist rates...
£4.60 for a delicious lunch of chicken etc, £6 per night camping inc electric but £1.80 to park the scooter and £19 for my washing...we need to get tougher at these endless negotiations
A bit more for you though Phil eh, theres a couple of kilo in a pair of your underpants isn’t there? and I don’t mean whilst your wearing them either my little poodle faker€19.00 for washing sounds about right
Only after eating one of your special curries you wonderful turdburglar !I like the doors too, Roadhouse Blues is a particular favourite!

Welcome to Morocco.
Weather gets better as you get further south - we're outside Essaouira and it's been hot and sunny although as I write it's gone a bit cloudy, which is forecast for tomorrow as well. Still hot though - and washing dries much quicker here too..........!
Stay in touch, maybe catch up with us - we're only pootling along.

i ts certainly remote enough for Ryanair. I wonder if they sell it as Agadir or Marrakech?Well we went into Essouria from Sidi Kaouki on the bus.
It took an hour, cost 7MAD each, each way and called at the airport which is served from Ryanair Stansted.

Well we are now in tafroute. We took the P1085 from Tata to igherm first, the road was good two way tarmac for the first 25miles then from tagmout village went to normal single tarmac with gravel verges. Going through the villages was interesting, bit skinny in places but all doable, but not for the faint hearted! Anyway from igherm to tafroute was mainly two way good tarmac with a small section towards tafroute single track tarmac. Anyway thanks for all the info, we are sitting back & chillin!Let us know how you get on if you take that route as we would probably want to do it ( the other way) next month

Are the campsites up there busy at the moment?
The campsites are rammed & having been here before three times, we have never seen the guardian parking areas so full! Motorhomes everywhere! Oh & found the service point, still in use! Fenced in and only open between 9am & 6pm.
Are the dogs barking loudly all night at Imsouanne?
We couldn't stand them last year but liked it there
