I know its hard to say without seeing it but give me a Ball-Park figure for this van FFB Tabbert Classic 570. 1993. Runs well, no MOT needs refurb inside seems solid everywhere else.

I would guess around the £5K mark +/- £1K depending on condition.

Would need to check underneath for rust etc :p
Internals would need to be looked at but shouldn't affect the value too much unless it is absolutely trashed/dogs/smokers etc.

I would say £3-4k, depending on the interior (salvageable and complete or not)

This would be dependant on history/receipts/MOT history/chassis rust/water ingress/whether the windscreen is still available.

If it were MOT'd, above issues were fine, didn't need interior and ran well I'd guess £6-9k dependant on miles/history and overall condition. Guessing though (obvs :) )

Jim, I have a similar van but a Pilote. On reading elsewhere the Tabbert is a sought after van in this age bracket so I’d say around 8K but would depend on interior but I’m guessing that the upholstery will be an awful brown/ orange colour but I’d imagine you would have a well made interior barring the colour scheme

Hi Jim without a MOT and interior it's to all intense purposes scrap....It will cost around 4/5 k in bits for interior and a lot of work. Once done to a good standard it will make 6 to 9 k but work on 6 because it won't have original interior

I do like those vans, a lot. but no, I've just been asked by the owner what it was worth. I think (not 100%) it still has all the original interior, it's just all the material that will need re-doing.

Disappointing. Thought it was a new game. Was looking forward to tomorrows :)

I sold an FFB 660 Classic about 7 years ago in excellent order for the princely sum of £8K. I believe the buyer still has it and a member on fun. The FFB was a well respected van and I believe Tabbert lost money on every one they made as they were so well put together.

We had a Tabbert a few years ago, our first proper motorhome, I think it was the 660. I agreed to buy it for 4k without seeing it (we lived on a remote Scottish island and it was in the far north of Scotland, just too convenient). Quality motorhome but we traded it in for an RV a year later and got our money back.

I think a Funster eventually bought it after it had passed through two dealers, for quite a bit more than 4k, and then had some kind of serious engine or gearbox failure, which I felt a bit bad about, even though I had no reason to, and it had certainly shown no signs of any problems while we had it.

If it's only upholstery that would cost £1400/£2000 ISH depending on material/ leather. It would need MOT and everything working / upholstery done to pull 8/9 k or price reduction to allow for it done

Thats what I was told too, I met an old couple in Orleans who extolled the virtues of theirs and insisted in showing me round it. Very well made vans.

The one I had I bought unseen in Spain, flew out to pick it up and drove it home. That winter I drove it from Liverpool to Morocco and toured all over the west coast of north Africa for 3 months on many miles of dirt road and it stood up to the punishment admirably. It was built on the Peugeot J4 Maxi chassis with the engine from the Citroen CX, which at the time of build was the fastest diesel car in the world. That FFB would sit comfortably at well over the UK motorway speed limit with no rattles whatsoever. Solid wood cabinets and everything screwed and jointed, not sticks and staples like many of today's vans. The only thing I did not like about it was the wrinkly alloy outer skin similar to the blue stripe Hymers.
