Used up too much album space? (1 Viewer)

The JPEGs I've been uploading have been too big (400KB+) which I thought might be introducing an extra conversion stage - hence the slight fuzziness on some of them. I also thought that should fix my being unable to upload any more pictures - my picture count had reached zero after my previous album upload and I presumed it was because my disk quota was used up.

However...having taken an existing 9-picture album and recreated it with more compressed photos (100KB+) I'm still not being allowed to upload extra pictures.

Mr. Webmaster....is there a maximum number of photos across all albums per person, or a disk space quota? Is there a penalty for exceeding these, e.g. no more uploads for a month, that I might be seeing?

25 per album AFAIK.

it's a bit confusing I admit, but we have two places we can place photos. the first are the albums in our profile. These are limited as they are just there to give people who click on your profile a few pictures to look at.

However we have a main gallery which has no number restrictions. You can place photos in your own album or in communal album such as "meets" or "funnies" etc. max of 800 by 800. The main gallery can be reached by the menu on the left. Sorry no links I am on my iPhone and links are a pain

Thanks Jim. It's the "Member's Albums" section I'm trying to upload new photos to - the one people use to record visits to specific places, new motorhomes, etc.

Dellwood has been in touch and I think hit the nail on the head - I have uploaded 100 photos (across 6 albums) and that's the maximum. I will have to post into the main gallery from now on, as you suggest. I guess you can't set up albums in the main gallery though?
