And us we were going, got to find somewhere else to go now. :Sad:

Makes you smile living in the UK.................................I don't know how other countries manage.

I had 12 years on the Water Board, and in the early 1970s we had snow chains for the old transit and most times we had to tow the compressor so we could break the road up and repair the burst pipes oh:......................................................... And not once did they say you cant go out sod the thousands of homes without water. Or the snows to deep stay at home.
If we had said we cant get there the vans buried under 6' of Snow, they would have said ...................Why do you think we provide shovels. oh: Bob.

In Russia most people still shop at markets and when it snows they still shop out in the open.

We are wimps in this country when it comes to snow (not that I am out playing innit)
