If its like mine connect hook up and select vehicle battery on the control panel. The charger should now be charging the selected battery

as lunarman says, if your panel has a selecter switch for the batteries then switch to ENG or the pic of a cab.
leave it on overnight then switch it to the other side and charge the hab battery as a precaution.

dont know about autotrails but most swifts have this switch.

ps...in an emergency situation you can use this switch to power the hab area from the engine battery...but dont overdo it and flatten the engine battery.

I have that switch in my Autoquest 100, should it work on that? I was given "general" advice (not on the forum I have to add) that the hook up would only charge the leisure battery, and the switch was to determine which battery to take power from?

Would be great news if it worked...

Yes that will work, had the same on our Kontiki.....................what a pain::bigsmile:

Our van we have know charges both batteries when plugged in.:thumb:

You should think about getting a battery master fitted. :Smile: Bob.

Thanks will give it a try while I have the hook up on for the heater...
