Hi all 2 weeks ago we collected a 02 Bessy 645 and this is our 2nd weekend end away in sub zero temperatures (must be mad). my brother, scottie, told me to get a spare door as i had only one and as luck would have i just snapped it in the gas bottle door.:cry:The bit i have left has a number on it, where can i order a replacement?
Also this weekend's temperatures froze the shower and sink drains, the traps are outside the van would you believe, any tips on how to solve this problem. For now i have dropped some anti-freeze into the plug holes and assume when the better weather arrives i will have to insulate all the pipes.
By the way we are thrilled with the van::bigsmile:

regards

many motorhome door locks/keys are a 'universal' fitment...
the locks/handles may look different but the barrel and key are the same.

try a caravan dealer, they usually stock quite a few different ones.

He still has a bit in the lock John  .
forgot about that bit.
maybe a sewing needle with a small bend (heat it 'til red then bend with pliers) and fish it out.
otherwise it will be a stripdown and manipulate the tumblers until it comes out.

Key dilemma ...

Hi Mike, these teething problems are all part of the MHFun life style. The key should not be much of an issue and I'm sure the lads will come up with a way to get your pipes insulated.

In e meantime you could just use the outside shower:Eeek:

Hi Mike, good to see you have joined us on here ( mind you, Richard probably brow beat you in to it ! )
I would have liked to pop round over the weekend to take a gander at the new van but as Richard may have told you I was at a Funster meet at the seaside ! :thumb:

Your problem is actually pretty easy to deal with

Unwilling to put the info up here as it could help an unscrupulous person, but please give me a ring when you get a moment ( 0781 8822887 or 01842 754415 )
