Dont know how to send a thread to someone specific so here goes.Looking for somewhere to go for a night or two on the Suffolk coast, either "wild"(yes we are tossers to be) or a CL. As we live in ditchingham near Bungay, we are looking to go somewhere due east "ish" from us. I was thinking Jim alias scotjimland may be able to advise ? ? ?
Yours in anticipation Mitch

Hi Mitch

There is parking at Bawdsey Quay .. not on the quay, but on the road as you approach it just before the row of houses, a small lay-by on the right with river views..

Opposite the lay-by is a car park, hidden among the trees, (with a height barrier) but it has a toilet block which is usually open.. you can access it via a footpath opposite the lay by.

The Vulcan arms at Sizewell is a CL. If you stay on a Friday then you get some really good local entertainment in the pub. They also do a carvery Sunday lunch or other good food is on tap.:beerchug:The camp site is directly opposite the power station but don’t let that put you off. It is a stone’s throw from Aldeburgh Southwold Dunwich Snape Woodbridge etc. Amazing stretch of coast. :thumb:
