Hi, all can anyone advise on a bit of a query with our belling dual fuel cooker? When SWMBO uses the oven in the van she seems to (nearly) burn things- she says that the oven doesn't turn down when she turns the control knob down, and the flame seems to stay the same-ie big. Now we are not that thick to think this is right but the dealer "service manager" says -now get this- that when you turn the knob down it somehow LOWERS THE GAS PRESSURE, AND MAKES THE FLAME COOLER, BUT IT DOESN'T LOWER THE FLAME??????????? clever eh!We think they are taking the p**ss what do you real experts think? We think it's simply a duff thermostat.

I wonder how long it took the dealer to think that one up???
But back to the question...most American RV owners take out the American oven becouse they say they burn everything.
I personaly have never had an issue with the American oven...if you light it and set the tempreture you want, then leave it 10 minutes before putting anything in there you wont have a problem.
For some reason they take a while to settle down to temrature and you must leave them on for a while before you put the stuff in there.
If you do that and open the door you will see the flame has gone down.
