There are a lot of Globecar owners on this forum, and it seems as most owners are very happy with their vans.
They are also very helpful with all the mods that they have done on their vans, giving others the inclination to do similar.
Looking through the Continental vans forum there is only one make that has more posts than Globecar and they are the Hymer owners.
I’ve owned my Globecar Campscout now for 20 months it’s very versatile and We are over the moon with it.
It has taken us the ownership of 6 motorhomes to find the perfect van for our lifestyle and won’t be changing again in the near future.
Globecars Rule!

John.

I think you've got something there John; i.e. GC owners are a real dedicated bunch and loyal to the brand.

I also love the idea of how GC owners buy their vans and then modify them extensively.

GC are much better than Hymers so we best start getting that post count up a bit :xThumb:

I think we should use John's thread as a Globecar picture collection thread:

I'll start (Gold at the end of the rainbow :D ).

I’ve got photos I’ve taken of places I visit in the motorhome but not of the motorhome in those places .... I seem to be unusual in that :D

This was our previous Familyscout L on the East cost of France just over the border from Spain, taken in February 2018.

Can't remember which country this was, either Hungary or Slovakia, very narrow gorge with wooden road taken in September 2018.

Howslack Farm is a Certified Site with C&M Club. About 2.5 miles up a rough road from Moffat but worth it for a quiet night to break up the trip home. The M74 runs along the top of the hill in the photo but I couldn't hear it. Spoke to a nice fella on the phone to book but didn't see anyone while I was there - just left the £ in a box by the loo.
C&C Club site in Moffat required minimum 2 nights on a weekend (n)

And one from last year... Our first trip away in our new Globecar was to Stalag Luft Brora (better known as Seabreezes Caravan Park). Don't let the fence put you off, it is a lovely place. Interestingly, it was a government listening site (Brora Y Station) and collected signals for decoding at Bletchley during WWII. It stayed open through the cold war as part of GCHQ and only closed in 1986. A nice guy bought it to use as a warehouse and has just opened as a campsite for the past year or two. He gave me a tour of the old offices, a bit like the huts I saw in Bletchley earlier this year.
