Hi All

I have recently used my fridge on gas for the first time. To ignitor the gas, I have to put the battery switch on the main console to the on position. I then hold in the ignitor switch on the fridge for a few seconds and the fridge is then in operation. My problem is that the ignitor keeps clicking if I leave the battery switch on at the main console. I am able to have the switch in the off position during the day, But when I need light in the evenings, then I have got to put up with the clicking sound from the ignitor. Am I doing something wrong !!

Any help would be greatly accected

Are you sure the fridge is igniting???
The igniter should not be clicking when theres a flame present, somthing wrong there.

Hi Snowbird

The fridge is igniting and the ignitor stops clicking if the main battery switch is in the off position, and all works well. But if I put the main battery switch to the on position, then the ignitor starts clicking again and the light flashes. !!

Not sure what the issue is.

Thanks for your reply.

Seems very strange that...does the flame go out when the light is flickering?
that is to say when you have switched on the main switch.

sounds very much like an ignitor circuit board fault to me.

usually a direct replacement part as no user fixable parts involved.....unless you know electronics of course..

Hi Snowbird

The flame stays alight when the main switch is in the on position and the light is flickering.
