HPI and national mileage register (1 Viewer)

just did an HPI check for my brother.

the national mileage register (NMR) ,which is part of the report, doesnt always show the true mileage and cant be relied on as acurate.

note the last two mileages and the dates of these reports in the thumbnail.

11000 miles in 6 days just aint possible.....thats 78mph for 24hrs per day without stopping to pee, for fuel or food/water :Eeek: unless it was a very honest dealer and the speedo head was changed for one of a higher mileage :ROFLMAO:

the last mileage is the true mileage and the logbook/car isnt a clone.

This might be what the various prior owners disclosed to the DVLA on the log book (or whatever V number it is now) so could well be a mistake

agreed it is a mistake but why would the dealer make such a glaring error when he did his HPI check ?
