Has anyone been to the Carmarthen caravan and motorcaravan show before? this year it is on the 17th to the 19th of september, we will be in the area then but can't decide if it is worth going, we have contacted the organisers and was told it is £30 for 4 nights, we wondered if there is enough there to keep us occupied for 3/4 days, any advice would be appreciated. bambi 2

Hi Bambi, Carmarthen show is very small, you could walk around it in an hour. The "entertainment" is held under the stairs of a grandstand, its not ideal. That said we have great fun there in early April, there is lots of hardstanding and the organisers are good. Quite a few funsters attend that show but for one reason or another the Autumn show gets passed by.

Whist at Carmarthen, which is easily reached at the end of the M4; you are only a short drive away from some spectacular scenery, Pembokeshire and the Gower, so if you were bored with the show there is plenty to do. If you make a post and put a meet up, you never know some Funsters might join you:thumb:

Alll you have to do is say, were going, does anyone else want come?, you might end up with a few funsters there to keep you company:thumb:

Thanks for that jim.
We used to live not far from Amroth and we loved the area, we will be visiting old friends while we are there, we may just visit the show for one day now that we know it is not that big. bambi 2

We've wild camped at Amroth lots of times::bigsmile: We love the place. Everyone drives by heading to Tenby or Saundersfoot, leaving the dog friendly beach and the fresh mackeral to us:Smile:
