We want to replace the lock on the habitation door on our Swift M/H. It is the original lock which we are told can be opened without the key using a flat screwdriver. Having bought a Caroloc 367barrel lock which is supposed to be more secure we are having difficulty fitting it. Can anyone help. We want to make the habitation door more secure.

Looked at these but we havn't enough room for the securing plate. There is a wall as soon as you climb into the van on the right hand side. Would mean cutting part of the wall out.

Seen those. Hubby wanted to fit the other type that uses the plate that covers the whole lock. He seems to think this one to be more secure.

The windows are always a weak spot
however we had someone try to force the habitation door on ours with a screwdriver
fortunately it held
