Our water tank level indicators are 4 lights and a switch-press switch upwards and it shows level in Fresh water tank, press downwards and it shows level in grey tank.
So,starting with 4 lights lit on fresh tank and no lights lit on grey tank,I would expect grey tank lights to light up at roughly the same rate as fresh water lights go out
However, this doesnt seem to happen and last week when only 1 light was showing for grey tank (1/4 full) I unscrewed the 5" cap and found that the grey tank was full.
I've reached in and cleaned the sensor best I can,but to no avail-How does the sensor come out ? who sells them ? and, roughly, what do they cost to replace ?

Many thx, Mike

Have never had any luck with sensers on both RV and VW,they tell more lies than polititions.
Gave up taking notice of them years ago after trying everything in the book to sort them out, even went to a specialist and he said, save your money, they only work for a short period of time anyway.
After that they get cloged up with crap.

Like Snowbird never had much luck with them, sometimes putting some Bio washing powder in the tank not full when coming home and giving a good shake up coming home can help, but no promises.

Think I have read somewhere that a couple of bottles of cheap coke on an empty tank can help, not sure but know American service personnel used to clean their buttons etc in coke.
