Am at Pego do Altar in Alentejo, Portugal. It is beautfiul by the side of the lake but even for me 38 degrees centigrade is a little hot!

The Travel Cool air cooler (which works on the evaporation principle) has used up all its resevoir of water... the fridge, even with the assisting fan switched on, is struggling to cope and I am now thinking of heading north to cooler places... perhaps in the shade of some trees at Quinta Majay...
