Hi all can anyone tell me how much I should be paying for 6kg lite gas bottles. Need to buy one for the first time. I have the old one so its just the gas I should be paying for.
Many thanks and keep smiling::bigsmile:

I paid 21 quid for mine in Atherton and also the same in Wales. You pay a premium for the new bottles but you can swap the old type for the new type without paying any more fees. Good thing about them is they are light( obviously lol) and also they have a guage on them so you can tell how much gas you have in them at all times. Beats the picking the bottle up, shaking it and then dropping it on your foot and breaking your toes routine LOL

Hi all can anyone tell me how much I should be paying for 6kg lite gas bottles.

Retail price of a standard 6kg propane from Calor is £18.99

there is a £2 premium on the new 6kg lite bottle, making it £20.99

IMO .. another Calor rip off

I pay £24.00 for 13kg propane so I would expect to pay near enough half that price for 6kg:thumb:

Swapping a conventional cylinder for one of the light weight, just something I found out the other day as I was exchanging our 6kg orange.

I read the 'memo' from Calor and apparently you can swap a standard cylinder for a light weight but you can't then swap back, just thought I'd add that:thumb:

Is this quite easy to do and what sort of container do you fill your 6 kgs calor lite from. Where did you get your adaptor as this would be really handy to do when travelling Europe as I understand you cant buy the 6kgs calor lite bottles over there.
