This is my first chat post so forgive me if it's naff.
For 20 years we've put with a large sycamore tree in our garden. Our two previous home built vans had permanently blackened roofs from this. So with the arrival of our proper job we
gave the tree a good haircut not a pretty site now but i didn't fancy spending all my time trying to keep all the roof lights, tv aerial etc clean. Probably the best £150 we could spend on the MH.

I suppose the best thing I have done is sort out all the stuff we do not ACTUALLY use and simply carry around 'just in case' !

Even managed to get rid of the top box which allowed the addition of another solar panel AND gave us extra mpg :thumb:

Today I am going to remove the microwave, as the last time that chap was used was last November !!

No not naff at all.::bigsmile:

Well for our van and both too it.

For our van? well when we knew we were going to be getting a motorhome we had to factor about 4k in to the price to enable us to have our front garden converted to a drive way to enable us to get about 4 cars and a motorhome on. It worked out really well and meant we never had to worry about storage or anything like that. It also meant we could have guests to park there vans next to ours occasionally

too it? must be the Camos dome, my van loves it ::bigsmile:

I think the best thing I added was a rear view camera as we have no rear window to use. It has made life so much easier.

For it,has to be, extending one driveway and putting a hardstanding at end and an EHU on house wall.
To it,thats difficult to choose between:
1. 2 x 80w solar panels.
2.40ltr fixed lpg tank.
3.Remap.

It was something we knew we wanted to do when we bought it last November.
The fabric hadn't worn too well , and looked a bit dated. It was also a bit clicky on the seat cushion edges. It was a known fault with the "Burgundy, gold Aztec" pattern.
We have been saving up our pennies since.
We hoped to "win" the 45% funsters discount at the upholsterers in the competition , but didn't:Sad: .
Oh Ralphs put EHU on our house wall too.

The best thing we/hubby has done is re-fit the shower room.

We have re-lined the walls in white bought new shower, taps, mirror, storage, toilet seat, basin & taps & towels. Only thing we couldn't replace was the shower tray which is a one piece moulding which the toilet is fitted on and is an odd shape, but it still looks fab - light, clean, spacious and I can't wait to use it!:thumb:

This weekend hubby has put another gas point on for the bbq on the opposite side to where it was so he doesn't have to sling the connector underneath that will probably be his best bit.:thumb:

I gave my mum the microwave on Sunday so got an extra cupboard, never really used it and tend to wild camp anyway. It was one of those things where you go and buy everything you can the first weekend after you get your motorhome!

The best thing we've ever done for The Rosabella is to use her. Loads of miles under her wheels, loads of fun for us, fab places we've visited together, great people we've met together.

Second thoughts - this should be in a thread called "What's the best thing you're motorhome has done for you?"
