Hi,

We often hear of the fact that insurance companies won't insure fulltimers, but what exactly is the cover that is not available that fulltimers so eagerly seek?

.. as far as I know Bryan, no company will insure without a valid UK Post Code, this is the stumbling block for a true full timer, you have to lie to get insurance. ie, give an address of a friend or relative.. so the question is academic , insurance of any level is not available.

As Scot Jim says - without a proper post code there is simply NO insurance available to a fulltimer - and that include CONTENTS!

People who live in houses can insure their furniture and effects through their house policy - simple.

People who live fulltime in RVs cannot (honestly) get a proper motor vehicle insurance and therefore cannot get a contents policy. Many insurance companies still say that your contents are insured on your house policy - but if you don't have a house policy then you are stuffed!

so pray tell how do the romanys get on
they seem to manage

and they are fulltime

It's like comparing apples and oranges, Gypsies may be full time, but Full Timers are NOT Gypsies, they live by their own laws and customs and don't recognise the 'host' county's legal system .
