Just been to the Hospital in Shrewsbury ! Apparently I have a level one heart block so I go to the top of the queue for a pacemaker !!! Guess when they want me in .....next Friday at 8am.
I was so looking forward to the bring n buy meet to meet up with funsters (especially Movan !!) So it's all gone tits up again !!
I hope that Haganap and Penelope Pitstop pick up on this thread, I apologize wholeheartedly for my unforeseen absence !!!!....

Now......on to the quiz !!!

when you have had it done you will wonder what all the worry was about, the other week when in ccu myself the guy in the next bed (late eighties) had just had one put in and he went home feeling great so I am sure you will be fine:thumb:

Thank You one and all for your letters of support and encouragement....I realise that it only takes about 90 minutes to do and I am not allowed to drive for 7 days after the event, so a period of reflection on the hospital car park should do me well !!!
As soon as possible after the procedure I am hotfooting it up to the Isle of Lewis to visit my 2 cousins (most of July) so if anyone is up there, perhaps we should arrange a "minimeet" !!! Once again, thank you all !!!!.....:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Not actually much fun in hospital, the answer is get you retaliation in first - there's nothing like urinary extraction from Nursie before she gets down to it. I've got my lot well trained.

As ever, Nil illegitimis carborundum... don't let the bastards grind you down!! It's not a bad idea to take a small block of carborundum in with you, and offer to sharpen their scalpel, anything you can do to make life easy for them.
