Hi Steve, and welcome. There are quite a few solo travellers on the forums, they meet up at regular meets and rally's. Book yourself on a few and you are certain to meet others

Hi yep, cest moi !

Mum taken ill, had my house converted to look after her. Conversion took 6 months not 6 weeks quoted! Out the window went my camper van antics. Then after that mum went into hospital, so last 4 months just not been able to use van.
My first run out in Fanny a couple of weeks ago was brill, so good to be back on the road and feeling like I wasnt anchored to one place. Mum now being looked after in a good home with 24hour care. I am sad, very sad but mum is better off there and I should be able to do some adventuring.
Hope to be able to do some more meets soon
