A frivolous whistling duck ? But if it is, it’s way off course. o_O

It’s an Egyptian Goose, related to the Shelduck. There is a feral population breeding in England - mostly in East Anglia. Presumably the same thing has happened in the Netherlands.

Normally only seen in pairs, but in Holland last week by a lake behind Delft Hout campsite, there was a big flock of them, probably 200 in all, the most I have ever seen together.

It's a cross between a pheasant and a duck, normally referred to as a flying phuck. :D2
