I have treated myself to an iPad. It was an easy set up, just positioned my iphone close to iPad and it did it all itself, scary stuff!

Only issue I have is with the mailbox.

My iCloud email has come across ok but not two other google accounts and a Yahoo mailbox. I can find most passwords in keychain, but despite looking everywhere I can’t seem to locate passwords for these mailboxes.

Yes I could log in via Safari and go down the ‘forgotten’ password route, but thought I’d ask here first.

Cheers Dave

Someone else will probably come along and explain this better however
On your phone go into settings
Then accounts and passwords
Then add account
I think that’s it.
Good luck.
If not unplug it, leave 10 seconds, blow on the plug, little prayer to the magic IT fairy.

I am assuming from the description that you have an iPhone that is already set up and that it uses the Gmail app to access your gmail.
Also, assuming that iOS on the phone is the same as on an iPad (I have the latter but not the former) proceed as follows.
On the iPhone go to Settings/Accounts & Passwords/App & Website passwords. It will ask for your access code. Scroll down until you find ‘google.com’ and you should see your gmail address (or user name) with an arrow head to the details.
The same process should work for Yahoo.
This assumes that both accounts were set up and working on the iPhone.

Being fixed/replaced next week. We had intended getting an iPad anyways as more convenient at times and Ginny wanted one . Getting used to it; like using a big phone!
