Glad it worked for you Ken. We've done ours this afternoon as well - Jill still wouldn't climb the big scary ladder to do the roof though so muggins had to do that ::bigsmile:

Can I ask what was the name of this product? I have never heard of 'drywash', but from what you say, it sounds like a perfect solution (no pun intended)!!

The web site is Link Removed. We bought it originally after seeing the demo at Newark. Quite a few Caravan Club site shops stock it now.

It disappeared - bean and gone? ::bigsmile: - whilst I was posting my reply.

Sorry Ken,
I saw your post on Nomads and was able to dechiper your suggestion.
(in other words I read it and understood what Graham had reccomended. :thumb:

I tried to remove it and thought I had before anyone replied

Drywash :thumb:

Just for a little humour I looked up the definition of "Drywash"

Laundry that has been washed and dried but not ironed. I hope you had the iron on cool when you pressed the van. :Eeek:

I have seen this 'Dry Wash' for sale in the accessory shops but could not see how this could work as well as a 'wet wash & wax' product like Fenwicks. However, willing to be convinced :winky:

I don't pretend to know the science but presumably it's along the same lines as dry cleaning (as opposed to washing) for clothes. There is water involved, just a lot less of it, and the surfactants etc. in the mixture do the work without needing so much water.
