Now that we have a motorhome we are likely to be away in the middle of nowhere so the wife can play her guitar as loud as she likes.....but space and weight is limited. So I made her a mini, travel guitar.

For those of a technical persuasion.... it's a 20 inch scale, mahogany neck through, dual mini humbucker, ash top six string.

It even plugs into the stereo in the cab!

That looks a proper job workshop.

I'm about to make a door for MH cupboard, I'll have to try harder now.

A guitar is a tool for a job......

You need a hollow body for jazz
a Strat for screeming solos
an SG so you can be Angus!
one with a Floyd Rose so you dive your heart out
a flying V just because
etc etc etc

As my son said 'the number of guitars you need is n+1, where n is the number you have now.'

Thats a seriously impressive piece of work and a nice looking guitar.
I have an old Hofner Shorty which has toured a lot of Europe and Morocco in the moho. I have a Roland Cube Mobile which I use to amplify it. Only 2.5w x 2 but plenty loud enough for the van - and for the neighbours too if you really turn it up! The only niggle with it is the distortion sounds are a bit naff.

My wife uses one of them as well....in fact it now lives in the MH so we don't have to remember to pack it. At home there is an Orange Crush Pro - 60watts of sound. I think I will need to obtain a Roland Micro Cube RX Bass for mine.....

Well, the mini bass is complete and plays really well, even if I do say so myself :)
Again it's a 20 inch scale, dual humbucker mahogany body, poplar topped bass.

Also obtained a Roland Microcube RX bass amp as it runs on batteries.....

You'll know it's us if we're on the campsite!

A Flying "V" because you are a Wishbone Ash fan.......

A thing of beauty, you have made not only a musical instrument but a piece of furniture, personally I find it easier to just take my acoustic with me no electrics to worry about.

Nice job.:D
