Hi. Motorhome only 3 years old now Dometic grill won't stay slight. Sometimes it does, mostly it won't so you have to keep your finger on the gas button to get any toast!
Any easy remedy thank you?

@bengas Is the control knob turned fully clockwise?

I had that problem recently and the dealer replaced the thermocouple - doesn't mean much to me but it was done under warranty (van just over three years old) and it works now so I'm happy

Take the knob off. Place something hard inside the knob where the shaft goes ,keeping the knob away from the cooker a little, this was the cure for mine. Also when you have taken knob off use a pair of pliers instead of the knob.

If you’re reasonably handy with tools it’s a doddle.

I find our Dometic grill will not light until I light the oven then light the grill. Not ideal but a lot better than the Thetford pile of junk I had in my previous van.
