People always help out. People come prepared with suitable matting or plastic trays to help grip. Experience helps, look for any gradient and make sure you are going to leave down it.

Careful use of levelling ramps (set them up so they give some momentum when pulling away - you can go back and get them/have a member of the family pick them up and follow you to firmerground / downhill slope.

There are matts and old bread crates - even rubber door mats have been used to stop you sinking whilst pitched, and to aid traction when pulling away.

Other than that, 2nd gear and gently - wet grass, as far as traction is concerned, has the same properties as snow - treat it like you would snow, and yopu won't have problems!

And as hildweller said - that is all down to experience! - You'll get the hang of it!:thumb:

Assuming front wheel drive, have you ever checked axle weights? If overloaded at back, front will be running light, resulting in low traction. Having seen what some people carry on a rack or in a garage I am surprised the get any grip at all:RollEyes: VMax
