Waterproof Outrigger Motorhome Stabiliser Pads (1 Viewer)

For those who have invested heavily in hydraulic jacks then rather than lumps of wood these Outrigger pads https://www.outriggerpads.co.uk/product-category/motorhome-caravan-pads/ might be a good, tough, waterproof, smart accessory option?
They were launched at the February NEC Show (by a company who already make these for commercial equipment) in reply to a demand from the motorhome & caravan sector. On the stand all types (flat, square indent & round indent) were selling for £60 a set of 4 but currently a lot more (plus VAT) on their website. Have emailed them today (finally catching up after bad colds ) to find out what deal they can offer for Fun & RVOC members so will update here once we get a reply.

Have heard back that they are holding the Show launch price of £60 for a set of 4 (size 300X300X25) until 31st May - need to order over the phone on 01952 671403 as below & quote code MHC8102
Don't know how much p&p yet (substantial set so probably won't be cheap) but will ask for best price & update here once they reply.

Do you know if they are stackable ie. will they lock together without sliding to give a bit of extra height?

Even milk bottles are stackable

Looks like they are flat backed so not locking together.

No think they would slide in their current form but have suggested some kind of stacking system locking into indents on the pads & as this is a new product they are open to design changes.

Their website prices are plus VAT whereas the £60 offer price is including VAT.

Yes they were close on £100 inc VAT before. Very strong - bit heavy.

Not sure they are going to be a big advantage for us.
The pads are 300mm square and the round feet on our E&P jacks are 230mm.
Don't think the extra few cm will spread the load much more.
The next size up are quite a bit more expensive. Might just cut up a plank and make some rope handles.
